Sympathy Card Wording

At Signature Flowers we often get asked to advise what to write on a funeral card. However, as these are often the final note you will write someone, they need to come from the heart. Take some time alone to have the peace and space to think about what you would like to say.

Start by trying to think of a favourite memory, a line from a song you both enjoyed or one that will remind you of them. These suggestions may help you put together your own message. Alternatively you may like to customise your own message with words or phrases from the suggestions below.

If you’d like us to handwrite your card one our florists at our Claydon House Floral Boutique can do that for you. Simply email us the message as you’d like it to read.

With fond memories.

You will be sadly missed.

Rest In Peace.

In loving memory.

Always in our hearts.

Thinking of you.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mine is just a simple prayer, may God bless and keep you in his care.

Forever in our thoughts.

Time may pass and fade away but memories of you will always stay.

Rest peacefully.

You made the world a brighter place.

You will forever remain in our thoughts.

Many friends come into our lives but only a few leave with their footprints on our hearts.
