It’s nearly twelve months since Antonia and David’s big day at the beautiful Chichley Hall. Introduced to me by mutual friends, Antonia, her future mother in law and I came up with their lovely red flower theme.
Antonia wanted tall, bold table centres to fill the drawing room at Chichley Hall and create an impact as her guests walked in, I did this by using tall lily vases with bold red gerberas, tropical foliages and grasses. These stood out well against a more neutral background. The red picked up the colour in the stunning paintings throughout the venue.
It was great to see Dave from Fantasy Balloons and Venue Dressers, at the venue, a supplier we frequently recommend to our brides – for Antonia and David he supplied the table linen and chair covers – the red matched the gerberas perfectly.
We provided one long and low traditional arrangement which was used for both the ceremony table and top table – it was made up with gerberas, ranunculus, roses and a mix of seasonal foliages. The red looked great against the dark wood.
The bride Antonia carried a traditional wired shower bouquet in red and white, a mix of roses and spring flowers, and her bridesmaid wearing red, carried hand tied bouquets of all ivory ranunculus.
